The DEXTER RUSSELL 24253B 158SC 8″ Scalloped Utility Slicer Black Handle is a professional-grade kitchen knife designed for chefs, butchers, deli workers, caterers, and food service professionals who require clean, consistent slicing performance every day. Featuring an 8-inch scalloped edge blade and Dexter Russell’s trusted craftsmanship, this utility slicer glides effortlessly through meats, bread, sandwiches, fruits, vegetables, and other delicate foods without crushing or tearing. Whether you’re preparing meals in a busy restaurant, grocery deli, or commercial kitchen, the DEXTER RUSSELL 24253B 158SC 8″ Scalloped Utility Slicer Black Handle delivers dependable cutting performance shift after shift.

The precision-ground scalloped edge is engineered to grip food while producing smooth, clean slices with minimal effort. Unlike a straight-edge blade that can require constant sharpening, the scalloped edge maintains its cutting ability longer while easily slicing through crusty bread, tomatoes, roasts, poultry, smoked meats, and soft produce. The blade creates clean cuts that improve food presentation while reducing waste during preparation.

Manufactured from high-carbon steel, the blade is built to withstand the demands of commercial food preparation. The durable steel offers excellent edge retention, corrosion resistance, and long-lasting cutting performance when properly maintained. Its narrow profile reduces drag while slicing, allowing for faster and more precise cutting on a wide variety of foods.

The comfortable black handle is designed for all-day use in professional kitchens. Its ergonomic shape provides a secure grip that improves control and helps reduce hand fatigue during repetitive cutting tasks. The textured handle offers confident handling even in busy food preparation environments where moisture and frequent cleaning are part of everyday operations.

The DEXTER RUSSELL 24253B 158SC 8″ Scalloped Utility Slicer Black Handle is ideal for slicing cooked meats, poultry, roast beef, ham, turkey, bread, bagels, tomatoes, lettuce, sandwiches, cheeses, and many other food products.
