MALCO TR42 Trammel Points

The MALCO TR42 Trammel Points are professional-grade layout tools designed for precise marking and scribing of large circles, arcs, and radius patterns. Built for durability and accuracy, this tool is ideal for HVAC technicians, sheet-metal fabricators, and industrial craftsmen who require consistent, repeatable layout measurements across large surfaces and components.

MALCO TR42 Trammel Points feature telescoping steel arms that extend to a full 42-inch radius, allowing users to create large arcs without the need for improvised templates or multiple measurements. Each arm is constructed from nickel-plated steel, offering exceptional strength and corrosion resistance for long-term performance in demanding jobsite environments. The all-steel construction ensures rigidity during marking, helping maintain exact measurements even when working on vertical or uneven surfaces.

Each trammel point is equipped with precision-ground steel points that can be resharpened or replaced, ensuring the tool remains dependable and accurate through years of use. The design allows easy adjustment for radius size—simply slide and lock the trammel heads along the rule or beam to the desired spacing. Once locked, the tool holds its position securely, preventing slippage during marking or scoring.

For user comfort, the TR42 includes a vinyl-grip handle, providing a firm, non-slip hold that enhances control and reduces hand fatigue during extended layout work. The tool collapses compactly when not in use, making it easy to store in tool bags or carry on site without taking up excess space.

The MALCO TR42 Trammel Points are ideal for marking ductwork, pipe layouts, large-radius cuts, and complex sheet-metal patterns. Rugged, adjustable, and easy to maintain, they’re a trusted choice for professionals who demand precision and longevity from their layout tools.
